As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a vital role in our operations, leading the on-site execution of projects and ensuring that our high standards of quality are consistently met. You will manage all aspects of the carpentry work while also guiding and supervising a team of skilled workers on the job site. This is an opportunity for a seasoned carpenter with a passion for construction to step into a leadership role and make a lasting impact on Seattle's residential landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead carpentry efforts on-site, including framing, installation, and finishing, across all phases of residential construction and remodeling projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to project plans.
  • Supervise and mentor crew members, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to solve on-site challenges and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage material orders, site setup, and job-site cleanliness.
  • Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Communicate progress, needs, and any issues to the project manager in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in residential construction, with proven skills in framing, finishing carpentry, and managing projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as well as reliable transportation and ownership of essential tools.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes.
  • A truck and tools are required for this role.

Compensation:

  • Full - Time
  • Competitive hourly pay ranges from $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience.
